Tonja’s Inspirational Story (Part 2 of 2)

These visualization exercises helped to increase my faith so that God could work a miracle. Jesus says, “according to your faith it will be done to you” (Matthew 9:29 NIV).  This tells me that God meets us where our faith is at. It’s my job to get my faith up to match my heart’s desires.  The Dream Program method is simply a tool to increase your faith.  When you can see it in your mind and feel it in your heart, you can achieve it.  God has the power to manifest it through your faith. “Faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see” (Hebrews 11:1 NIV).

Some days I was so exhausted from praying, searching and networking that I’d just lay down flat, body and face on the floor or bed, and I’d cry.  I couldn’t say a word. I was broken, spent, and needed help.  My spirit was praying desperately for Ringo’s return.

The seventh and final step in Dina’s manifesting method is “Surrender”.  I admit, I was like a spoiled child for the seven months that I was looking for Ringo. I was not willing to give him up in my heart.  I was not surrendered at all. Finally I realized that I had to take this final step which was more like a leap of faith. (All day long I’d talk to God as if he was standing right next to me.)  Finally I got to the point where I said, “Lord, if it’s not in your plan for me to have Ringo back, then please give me the peace that surpasses all understanding. Take this pain from me.” A day or so after this prayer, I got an inspired thought (from the Lord) to create a new Facebook page for Ringo as if he were a person.  Even though I already had a fan page for him, I took immediate action on this lead from Him, as Dina teaches in her book.

Literally over night, Ringo had 90 new friends and one of them, a girl who I did not know, said she may know of his whereabouts. She said he was sold to an Amish community. I promptly called a friend to go look at all the black horses in a nearby Mennonite community (another lead from Above).  She went there and thought she saw him. She told me, “I think it’s worth you coming up here to Delano, TN”.  I traveled one hour to get there. A young guy came up to me at the market. His name was James. I told him my story and laid out 25 pictures of Ringo along with his Bill of Sale. I got this overwhelming feeling and thought, “I know he’s here.  I feel his presence. I know my horse is here.” (Another thought given to me from Above.)

James said we could drive around looking for Ringo. We went a little ways and saw a bunch of black horses.  I said to Papa, “Stop the car!”  I got out and whistled the way I always did with him, “Hey Boy, hey Ringo, let’s go!” One black horse turned his head to look at me. It was my boy! It was Ringo!

Papa and I drove back home brainstorming and praying about how we were going to free Ringo from this community and bring him back with us. Struggling with fear that I wouldn’t be able to buy Ringo back, I hand wrote the happy ending to Ringo’s story per Dina’s advice.  This exercise helped me to fight fear with faith so that I could manifest his homecoming. I even started paying board for him before I actually got him back.

A few days later, Papa drove me back up there to meet with the young man who bought Ringo. His name is Conrad.  When I met with him he said, “Tell me about your horse.”  I answered, “Ringo was a surprise Christmas gift to me six years ago.  He’s 16.1 Hands High. He hates to back up.”  (Conrad smiled.)  He pulled out a picture of Ringo.  “We have him.  I call him Ringo too.  I want to give you your horse back,” said Conrad. I started crying.  We put Ringo in our trailer and brought him home.

(The Mennonites don’t treat their animals with a kind hand. It’s all business. Ringo was very distraught because he was their tractor and the engine for their carriages for months. He was their workhorse.  His eyes are worried. He even has worry wrinkles. But now that he is back at home, he will be cared for with love!)

Praise and glory be to God for leading me right to my boy and then for allowing me to get him back!  I believe that all this has happened so that I would have a strong testimony, inspiring faith in others.  He works all things out for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28 NIV).

Thank you, Dina Beauvais and the Dream Program, for helping me to remain faithful yet surrendered in my best friend’s return!  I am living my dreams, thanks the Dream Program!

Tonja’s Inspirational Story (Part 1 of 2)

Have you or someone you know ever had a child or pet that was taken or kidnapped?  Well, there’s one Spirit in the universe who knows where this loved one is.  This Spirit is our all knowing, all powerful God, Creator of the Heavens and the Earth and of all living organisms therein.  Doesn’t He have the power to lead you directly to your beloved?  This is exactly what He did for Tonja.

Dream Program student, Tonja Wilkes of Rossville, Georgia, was miraculously led to her best friend and horse, Ringo Star, after seven long months of being kidnapped and sold.  Ringo is a Percheron Draft horse similar to a Clydesdale, and very well trained. Ms. Wilkes used to show him often.  Tonja was betrayed by one of her closest friends who offered to let Ringo stay at her barn for free.  After a while, this friend cut off all communication with Tonja and later admitted selling Ringo for $1,000.

After following the Seven Step Method in the book, “Dream to Destiny”, Tonja was miraculously led right to Ringo and was even able to bring him back home. “Stolen horse stories rarely have happy endings,” says Tonja, “but thankfully I had the faith to rely on God and stay positive with the help of the Dream Program and friends.  I just did as God told me to do which is what Dina teaches in her book, Dream to Destiny.”

We share this true and inspirational story with you to let you know that you can achieve your dreams as well.  Go after them with FULL faith and perseverance when you apply the same method to your life as Tonja did!  In this story, Tonja shares what she did to find Ringo.

Tonja’s Story:  Originally I saw Dina teaching about the Dream Program on an ABC PrimeTime TV show.  After this inspiring episode, I went on Facebook to find her and I did. She accepted my friend request right away and we began communicating back and forth. She sent me her award winning “Dream Program Kit” which includes her book, “Dream to Destiny”. The Los Angeles Times voted this kit one of the Top “Recession Busters”.  Originally I used the Kit to help my fiancé get a job after being laid off for two years.  Two months after reading the book and applying the method, he was called in for an interview from a company that he applied to over 24 months ago.  They hired him right away and now he’s making more money than he made before he was laid off. This victory convinced me that the Dream Program Method works!

A few months later Ringo was stolen and sold by one of my close friends. To manifest his return, I got my “Dream Program Kit” out again.  With many pictures of Ringo and me together, I created a Dream Board (13” X 15”) and hung it on the back of my door where I could see it often. On it I wrote, “Ringo and Me Together Forever”.   Several times a day I’d pop kiss my hand on his face and say, “You’re coming home soon”.  Throughout each day I’d visualize having him back.

I didn’t follow the method perfectly.  At times I floundered in my faith but would always get back on the horse, so to speak.  Ha Ha!  With the help of my friends, family and mentor, Dina Beauvais, along with many of Ringo’s Facebook fans, I’d muster up the strength to persevere in my faithful quest to find him and bring him home.

I got the brilliant idea (from Above) to use social networking to find Ringo.  So, I started a “Bring Ringo Home” fan page on Facebook to spread the word across the U.S. and around the globe for everyone to be on the lookout for my boy.  Many people were joining me in prayer asking God to bring Ringo home. When I was down, Dina would encourage me on Facebook to remember that God knew exactly where Ringo was and to continually ask Him to lead me to Ringo. She also coached me to visualize riding Ringo every night before falling asleep.  She reminded me to believe with all my heart then follow the leads from Above. I diligently followed this advice. (This is an important action step I am sharing that is also laid out in “Dream to Destiny”.) Every night before falling asleep I’d lie in bed, close my eyes and focus all my energy on visualizing my boy back with me.  The room had to be dark and perfectly quiet.  I’d concentrate on my breathing and the visual would come to me.  I’d go to “my little place” in my mind and imagine riding Ringo early in the morning across lush green pastures. I could feel the dew on my skin and see the fog in the air.  As I was joyously riding him, I could even smell his scent as well as the dirt he kicked up on our run. Then I’d drift off to sleep, often having wonderful, vivid dreams of Ringo being home with me.

Fit 4 Life (Part 3 of 3)

As promised in “Fit 4 Life Blog Part 2″, here is our “Forever Fit Log” (formerly called Fit 4 Life Log). This can help get you on track to achieving your fitness goals and dreams. Take our 30 day challenge and commit to filling in this log daily for only four short weeks. It only takes 3 weeks or 21 days to form a new habit. Fit 4 Life (Part 2 of 3)

The mental and spiritual exercises outlined in Part 1 of this blog will give you extraordinary power and strength to carry out all that is contained here in this blog, part 2. You learned how to mentally achieve fitness for life. Here you’ll learn how to physically train your body to be forever fit.

Log your Food, Drink & Exercise Daily

Each day, make a complete log of all the food and drink you consume. Write down why you’re eating and the time. Do this until your goal is achieved. (The only good reason to eat is if you’re stomach is empty and you’re physically hungry.) I chose to count fat and protein grams because it’s easier and faster than counting 1000-1200 calories per day. My daily fat and protein maximums are 30 and 80 grams respectively. (The protein grams are based on lean body mass, or muscle.) It’s good for women to shoot for 20 protein grams four times per day. (Do not have much more than this per sitting because the overage turns to fat.) If you have excess fat to lose, you can eat fewer calories than normal because your body will feed on the extra fat. Also, choose the amount of calories based on your goal weight.

Drink 64 ounces of purified/filtered water per day. All this liquid curbs your appetite and cleanses your body. If you habitually drink soda or other sweetened drinks, make every effort to replace these with water. If you must have caffiene, unsweetened tea (black or green) is good – especially green tea because of its anti-oxidant qualities. If you must use sweetener, small amounts of stevia, organic agave or honey will do. Desire for sweetness is an acquired taste, and denying it will reduce, then eventually eliminate your cravings for it.

Log your daily exercise, be specific and hold yourself accountable (“45 minutes of cardio, lower body, abs” for example). Record when, what type and how much exercise you achieved. You’ll be amazed at how regular exercise improves your attitude and outlook.

Log your portion sizes as well. Most of us eat too much food in one sitting. Resolve to enjoy small portions, the size of your hand or fist. Interestingly, if you eat more frequent, smaller meals, you will naturally speed up your metabolism. (You can often find a recommended portion size on the backs of most food packages.) If you’re eating out, set aside half or more of your meal and decide to take the rest home to enjoy another time. JFDI – Just Focus & Do It – for 30 days and see what happens to your figure.

Food & Drink

A little bit of Nature’s sugar (fructose) each day is good, such as raw fruit, sorbet, a tablespoon of honey*, maple syrup and the like.

The natural size of your stomach is the size of your fist or hand. If you over eat, your stomach is stretched out. It only takes a few weeks to shrink it back down to its natural size. Wait 20 minutes (set a timer if you want) after each small meal because it takes this long for your stomach to tell your brain that it’s satisfied. When your brain registers this you will not desire any more food.

Enjoy lean proteins (white fish, salmon, turkey, skinless chicken breasts, legumes, eggs, egg whites, etc.)  and complex carbohydrates (brown rice, rice pasta, whole grains, quinoa, red potatoes, Ezekiel bread, rice bread, etc.) whenever possible.

The human body is made mostly of water. This is one reason it’s best that your diet consists of 75% fresh raw fruits and vegetables. These natural foods from the earth are also made mostly of water. Have fruit in the morning on an empty stomach because it will go right through you helping your digestive system in its elimination process. Additionally, this is why it’s best to drink 64 ounces of good water per day. All these habits help you eliminate daily, a key factor to getting and staying thin.

If you need fuel at the gym or before working out, eat a piece of fruit. It digests quickly giving you energy for your exercises.

If you’re going to drink wine, it’s best to drink one glass of red wine with your dinner to help with digestion. Too much of it lowers your inhibitions, making you likely to make poor food choices. White wine and other alcohol are high in sugar and empty calories. It is actually best not to consume alcohol at all.

Eat slowly, savoring each and every bite. Put your utensils down between bites so that you can focus on and enjoy those you’re dining with. When you’re eating alone, do your best to eat the same way you would if you were eating with highly respected guests.

Wait 20 minutes after each serving before allowing yourself to believe you’re still hungry.

Have your complex carbohydrates and fat grams early in the day so that you’ll burn them off throughout the day and into the evening. If you do this, you’ll be less hungry later and be satisfied with a lean protein, salad and vegatable for dinner.

If you get hungry between meals, have a handful of raw vegetables as a snack – such as carrots, celery or cucumber. This will satisfy your hunger and your desire to munch.

Don’t eat after 7pm. (Or don’t eat anything four hours before you go to bed.) This simple habit alone will help you lose weight quickly.

It’s good to shock your body once per week eating whatever your heart desires. Make sure this is only one time per week, though, and do not over-eat.

NEVER OVER EAT! Make it your goal to be able to say, “I never over eat.” This is a reality for most young children before they develop bad habits. Watch them. Ask them. They stop when they’re full and won’t even think about eating more.

Exercise:

Use workout videos and/or cardio classes at the gym 5 to 6 days per week. Do 45 to 60 minutes of fat-burning cardio on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning, 4 to 6 days per week. (Make sure your heart-rate is in its fat-burning zone based on your age and fitness level. This range is posted on most cardio machines at health clubs. Additionally on this equipment you’ll find heart-rate monitors to ensure that you’re staying within this range.  (If you don’t have this monitoring technology, fat-burn is reached when you can speak energetically and comfortably without panting for air.) Get your heart-rate up faster by warming up (with cardio first) for 12 minutes, stretch, go straight to your calisthenics for 30 to 40 minutes then back to your cardio for 10 minutes with a 2 minute cool down. While you’re doing your calisthenics your heart-rate should be up the whole time if you keep moving. (This is my new workout – very efficient.)

It is very important to shock your body by changing your exercise routine every 6 weeks. Log this on your calendar to ensure that you do it. Otherwise your body will get immune to your workouts and stop responding. Have you ever seen people who are faithful going to the gym but they don’t even look like they workout? This is one of the reasons why. (Another reason is that they may be over eating and/or making poor food choices.)

Abdominal exercises – four sets of 25 repetitions, four days per week. Focus on strengthening & tightening up your core as you do every calisthenic or cardio exercise.

Do calisthenics (using your own body weight) 4-5 days per week, 2-3 sets of 25 reps for each muscle group. (I focus on losing fat before building muscle because I don’t want to look bulky.) Google “Calisthenics” to find out all the wonderful exercises that you can do to help you get lean such as crunches, lunges, push-ups, etc.

Tap into power from Above with this prayer. “Lord, give me the strength to follow this plan with whole hearted devotion, trusting you in everything! Thank you in advance for the victory. All glory and praise to you.”

*”It is not good to eat too much honey…” Prov. 25:27 (NIV). If you’re addicted to sweets, just wean yourself down to  approximately eight grams of natural sugar per day. Have tiny amounts of God’s candy – honey, fruit, maple syrup, etc. Did you know that sucrose (refined white sugar) is similar to cocaine? The more you have, the more you want. Form a new habit of eating small amounts of fructose (fruit sugar), slowly savoring each morsel. This should satisfy the cravings.

Fit 4 Life (Part 1 of 3)

Recently one of our readers asked me how I transformed my body from flabby to fit in one month then maintained it for over 20 years. (I mention this briefly in our best selling book, “Dream to Destiny.”)  Now, I’ve decided to share this part of me – my “Fit 4 Life” recipe – in this blog. (This is not to be confused with the “Fit For Life” book by the Diamonds.) You can change your body too. Currently I’m working on a new book, “Forever Fit” that teaches this plan in its entirety.

First of all, you need to know that I’m not one of those naturally thin people with a high metabolism. Starting at age eight I began to struggle with my weight because I was not athletic and I was an emotional eater who over-ate. Having an apple shaped body ran on both sides of my family. I refused this destiny. I was determined to have an hourglass shape and I did it through “The 3 Powers” (God, Mind & Passion).  In “Dream to Destiny” I teach about “The 3 Powers” and our patent pending method of manifesting dreams and/or goals.

Once my goal physique was achieved, I became a fitness model and certified personal trainer. My “Fit 4 Life Plan” is a spiritual fitness program that was created after many years of experience in the fitness industry. It is so much fun helping people achieve their fitness goals and dreams.

To change your body, you must first get determined. Make a decision and be resolved to see it through. After three weeks (21 days) of consistency, this program will become a new habit. Therefore, commit to follow this plan for one month and you will be transformed. Decide in advance to make this a way of life, never to fall back into old habits. Be obsessed with following this for 30 days. Once this becomes your new lifestyle, you’ll no longer need to do the affirmations, daily food log, visualizing, etc. You will just keep up with the great diet and exercise habits to maintain your new body. Remember to give thanks and praise to God for helping you. Then share your success stories with us at Service@DreamProgram.com.

Mental & Spiritual Exercises

Follow our patent pending manifesting method in Appendix B of “Dream to Destiny” which comes with our award winning “Dream Program Kit + Mentoring.” This book is available through most book stores, online (Amazon and other sites), at www.DreamProgram.com and it may even be at your local library. In addition to praying through your “KeyCards” and “Dream Sketch” aloud, write affirmations and draw your dream scenes over and over in your Dream Program Journal, which comes with your DP Kit + Mentoring. Do these mental and spiritual exercises right before falling asleep each night, before a nap or during your meditation times. This is the best time to re-program your subconscious mind, thereby re-directing your life.

The following are several affirmations that will not only feed your subconscious mind, but build your faith as well:

I am thin, lean and strong.
I maintain my perfect weight forever- ___ lbs. and/or a size ___.

I am Fit 4 Life.

A little bit of God’s sugar satisfies me.
I eat small amounts of food slowly.
I make the BEST choices.
I make healthy choices.
I exercise 4-6 days per week. (Three times per week is for maintenance.)
I love to work out! (Endorphins are great.)
I eat only when my body needs food (fuel).
I choose to eat mostly fresh, raw fruits and veggies each day.
I love fruits and veggies!

We manifest what we focus on. Therefore at the gym, read fitness magazines while on the treadmill, bike or other cardio machines. As you’re doing the weights and exercises (at home, at the park or in the gym) close your eyes visualizing your newly fit physique. Feel extremely grateful for your new body image. Without vision people perish (Proverbs 29:18 KJV).

Be your BEST YOU! Do what’s Best for your body and your health. Your spouse and children will respect you for it.

Achieve Your New Year’s Goals FASTER…

Happy 2011! How wonderful that we get a fresh start every year. Let’s assess where we’re at and where we want to be in 12 months. Every January I re-take the DTQ™ (DreamTouch Questionnaire™) in “Dream to Destiny”. Why? Because sometimes dreams change along with life circumstances.

Even if you’ve already answered the soul-searching questions, we encourage you to take 45 minutes out of your schedule to answer them again. Be true to yourself by pursuing your dreams and passions using your unique gifts and talents. Everyone has been given a set of gifts or natural abilities to build up your families and communities. If you don’t use them, you may lose them.

We all have healthy dreams and passions that were planted in our hearts by a Higher Power. (Our higher power is God.) These desires coupled with the use of our gifts lead to our Divine Destiny. The DTQ™ helps us discover all of our hidden resources that lead to the Goldmine Within – happiness, peace and prosperity. Recently my husband and I received contracts on two of our houses within one week of applying our method. Bring Your Dreams Into Reality

You’re going to get inspired into action when you read this blog. Susan Babbington shares her amazing success story of bringing her dreams into her reality after applying the Dream Program method outlined in the “Dream to Destiny” book.  Dreams can and will come true when you ask, believe and take action on the leads given to you by God.

Here’s Susan’s testimonial after applying the simple steps laid out in “Dream to Destiny” for almost 2 months. Her video testimonial is coming soon. Susan wrote the following to us on October 22, 2010:

“Everything I say here is true and is happening NOW!  Thank you a million times for changing my world to a much better one!
My life was in a shambles. My financial picture was bleak. I was struggling to pay bills each month, having to go into my dwindling savings account. My income is based on what I make in tips and with the economic slump, my earnings were down substantially. I’m also a substitute teacher and I was getting no calls from the school district to teach.

I have been plagued with health issues for 2 years. There was seemingly no end in sight with medical tests, perscriptions and doctor visits. Every night I went to bed worrying about my health.

My computer, which is my lifeline to the outside world, was on the blink. There was no way I could replace it. Estimates on how much it would cost to fix it were way beyond what I could afford.

Then one gloomy Friday night at the end of August, my whole world became brighter. I watched an episode of “Wife Swap” and was introduced to the Beauvais family and the book “Dream to Destiny” by Dina Beauvais. I ordered the book the very next day.

As soon as I got it, I began to apply the principals in the book, following it specifically as Dina has outlined.

Almost immediately, my life started to change! My tips rose dramatically, which may be a result of my changed, happy attitude.

I had my very LAST medical test, which came back ‘free and clear’! No more medication and no more Dr. visits for one year which means no more worries when I go to sleep.

The school district not only started calling me more, a principal at my favorite school offered me a full-time substitute position for my favorite class, third grade.

A family member and I had been very close in the past but hadn’t spoken in while due to a silly argument. Out of the blue, he emailed me and wanted to talk to fix our disagreement. We are very close again, talking everyday on the phone.

The laptop was the biggest surprise. A friend of mine had borrowed my Dell laptop and returned it broken! Of course I was angry and upset. There was nothing the store could do to fix it as the mother board was burned out. He made no mention of replacing it, even after I asked him what he was going to do about it. Thank Heavens, a friend of mine was moving and offered me his old Dell PC which was fine but an outdated dinosour of a machine which I had been using for the past year.

Two nights ago, I came home to find two packages waiting for me - a Mac Pro laptop with a new color printer! A present from the person who broke my laptop last year! What a great surprise. All animosity melted towards this person and we are friends again.

I have been cooking healthier for my son and myself. I am back at the gym every day, concentrating on cardio and weights. I want to be able to enjoy my future grandchildren!

My life has changed dramatically after following the principals in “Dream to Destiny”. There are many more things I’m working on to make my life the best it can be.  The only way to do this is to “be my best me” (as Dina says) and to do my best each day.

I cannot wait to experience all the great things life has to offer. Thanks to “Dream to Destiny”, I’m going to be able to do just that!”
